Sora pushed past the lines of injured troops that exited the ruins to a clearing. Her body was weary from battle but the disappearance of Tauriel ran amuck through her mind. She looked through the piles and piles of bodies strewn across the field. Finally from a distance she spotted a long strand of that fiery hair she recognized from an unmoving body. Her heart sank like stone in a deep oceans as her blood ran cold as the waters of Laketown.
"Tauriel!" she screamed, bolting towards the elleth.
She neared Tauriel’s body, her pace slowed as her legs weakened in disbelief. Her breathing raged through her lungs as she soon found herself beside her. Loosing balance she, fell onto her knees beside the corpse. Her hands craddled her head and pushed the stray locks from her face.
"T-Tauriel, please don’t go. Please…." she murmured unable to grasp the lose of such a dear friend. But it struck her like a hammer that she would not come back. Tear rushed from her eyes, falling onto the elf’s clothes
"I’m sorry…I’m so sorry, Tauriel" she cried loudily, pressing her forehead onto the elf’s chest.

The young Istar’s heart ached at the elf’s words as the battle around them raged. Her armour clad hand grasped his for dear life and she bit back tear that threatened to run down her dirt stained face. The other hand pressed against the arrow embedded into his side. The blood poured through her fingers as she attempted to stop the flow “I will not mourn because I forbid you from dying on me.” she spoke, “The battle will be over soon, I promise, please…Please do not let go, my friend”.
